I’ve only had Apple’s new AirPods for a few days now but I can confidently say that they are amazing. The sound quality, build quality, simplicity, multi-device support, all of these features combine for a truly awesome wireless audio experience.
What I really love about Apple products is the user experience. To use the AirPods, simply take them out of the case and put them in your ears. They are powered on and ready to go. There is no power button, once they are both in your ears you hear a little tone letting you know that they are ready to go. It couldn’t be easier.
They look like white sticks coming out of my ears and while they look funny, they wear very comfortably. I don’t even notice that they are in my ears. I’ve worn them for several hours at a time and they feel great, sound great and work flawlessly with my iPhone, iPad and MacBook Pro.
Other’s have reviewed them quite extensively so I won’t say much more about them other than they are a big upgrade from the EarPods and a nice upgrade from pretty much any other wireless audio device.
Just to be clear, these aren’t high end audiophile earphones. They won’t sound nearly as good as a high end pair of earphones, but for general purpose on the go listening, they do just fine.
